Applications
To apply, you will need to include The Quest Academy in your preferences on the Common Application Form provided by Croydon Council, or your home local authority if you do not live in Croydon.
Where the number of applications for admission is greater than the published admission number, applications will be considered against the following criteria. After the admission of pupils with Education Health Care Plans where The Quest Academy is named on the statement, the criteria will be applied in the order in which they are set out below:
- Looked-after children and previously looked-after children who have been adopted.
- Medical: Pupils with serious medical reasons for needing to attend this particular school.
- Children of Staff at The Quest Academy.
- Siblings: Children with a brother or sister who will be in attendance at the Academy at the time of enrolment.
- Primary School Attended (2024-2025 criteria)
- Distance: Priority will be given to pupils living nearest to the school as measured from the centre of the child’s home.
Year 7 Admissions for September 2024
National Offers day is 1st March. You will receive an offer of a secondary place directly from the Local Authority in which you live.
If you were offered a place at The Quest Academy: Congratulations! You must accept or decline the place through your local authority.
If you were not been offered a place at The Quest Academy for Year 7
We hope you are happy with the school that you have ben offered. If, however, you wish to appeal the decision not to offer a place at The Quest Academy, please see the information HERE on how to submit an appeal for a place in Year 7. The appeal form can be found HERE
In-year Admissions
In-year admissions are managed by Croydon Council and information to access this can be found HERE
In year admission appeals for Years 7 – 11
If you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer a place in Years 7-11, please contact the Governance Manager at The Collegiate Trust for an appeals form, [email protected]. You will need to set out the grounds for your appeal. Forms submitted without this information will not be accepted.
