The Quest Academy is part of The Collegiate Trust (TCT). The Trust works in the boroughs of both Croydon and Crawley, educating children and young people from 3-19 years of age with a clear vision to deliver exceptional education for all. Such an education achieves excellent outcomes in pupil progress and attainment, a rich creative, cultural and physical learning experience, and great personal and social development for all pupils. This is achieved by working with and developing strong teams of staff in each school, under the direction of the Principal of the school and the Local Governing Body (LGB).

The Trust grew out of Riddlesdown Collegiate, an outstanding (OFSTED, March 2023) secondary school in Croydon with almost 2,000 students and 200 staff. Gossops Green, in Crawley, was the next school (and the first primary) to join the Trust, followed by Waterfield Primary (also in Crawley). The Quest Academy (Croydon) joined the Trust in June 2018 followed by Courtwood Primary School and Gilbert Scott Primary School, now Quest Primary School (Croydon) in September 2018, Kenley Primary School (Croydon) in September 2021 and most recently Woodcote High School (Croydon) April 2023.
