Community

The Quest Academy is committed to fostering a spirit of cooperation between students and the community. All students are actively encouraged to get involved in community initiatives. From helping younger children who visit from local primary schools to getting fully involved with events with other Selsdon Education Partnership schools (see below), there are many opportunities for them to explore the benefits and ‘feel-good’ factor of helping others.

Students from Courtwood, Forestdale and Quest Primary primary schools regularly visit and we have three Academy Days per year where the three schools bring their Year 5 students to us to work together on a curriculum based project. All students also take part in a programme of Enrichment Activities and all students in Years 9, 10 and 11 complete the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, an important aspect of which involves service to the local community.

The facilities and resources of The Quest are available for use by the community. Please visit the Facilities Hire page to find out more.
