As we approach the end of term I’d like to thank you all for your support.

Attendance has increased substantially on last year; we really appreciate the effort every family is making to ensure their children come to school every day.

Year 11 have made great progress, showing an increase of 14% on the number achieving grade 4 with English & Maths and a 4% increase at grade 5 – measured against this point last year. This is great news. We will continue to work to accelerate this even more as their final exams come around in May – just six months from now!

Every other year group is also making progress. We’re focused on making sure that the teaching that all students receive in every lesson is excellent and that they have every opportunity to show us their talents. Please continue to encourage them to do their best.

Outside of the classroom there have been many trips, visits and other enriching opportunities. Details are in this publication.
