This week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from the Home Office to The Quest Academy, where they delivered engaging careers-focused sessions to our Year 9 and Sixth Form students.

The sessions gave our students valuable insights into the wide range of careers available within the Home Office, from frontline roles to specialist positions that support national security, immigration, and public safety. Students had the opportunity to hear first-hand about the skills, qualifications, and pathways needed to pursue a career in this vital government department. The event also highlighted the importance of transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and resilience; qualities that are essential not only within the Home Office but in any future career. Our students asked thoughtful and challenging questions, demonstrating real curiosity about how they might contribute to keeping the country safe and supporting communities in the future.
