Supporting Year 11 With Exam Stress
This week, our Year 11 students took part in a valuable session focused on managing exam stress and wellbeing, delivered by Isabella Wong, Education Wellbeing Practitioner. Isabella spoke to students about understanding stress, recognising common signs of exam pressure, and developing practical strategies to stay calm, focused, and resilient during the exam period. The session explored realistic techniques that students can use both in and out of school, including managing worry, building healthy routines, and knowing when and how to ask for support. With exams approaching, this was a timely opportunity for students to reflect on their wellbeing and be reassured that feeling nervous is normal — and manageable. Students engaged positively with the session and were encouraged to approach the exam season with confidence and balance. We would like to thank Isabella for her informative and supportive presentation, which has given our Year 11 students useful tools to help them look after themselves during this important stage of their education.
