Year 8 students were ‘Livingstone Legends’ during the trip to Selsdon Wood.

Before setting off, the group were briefed on the route and the task at hand and provided with clipboards to aid their note taking throughout the day.

Students took part in a Nature Trail with the aim of finding a range of plant and animal species typical of the Autumn season.

They showed ‘resilience’ through the muddy areas of the woods and exercised ‘aspiration’ to find all of the species in their work pack.

Students also enjoyed putting their photography skills to the test and took part in a photo competition.

The winning photo to be announced soon!
