The future is looking brighter than ever at Quest 6!

This year’s Quest 6 Induction Day welcomed a record number of students, making it our biggest and most successful induction event to date. The exceptional turnout reflects the growing reputation of Quest 6 as one of the most exciting and ambitious sixth forms in the local area.

From the moment students arrived, there was a real sense of excitement as they began their journey towards the next stage of their education. Throughout the day, students took part in a wide range of activities designed to help them settle in, build friendships and experience life as a Quest 6 student.

A definite highlight was the Morley’s lunch, where students enjoyed a well-earned break together, giving them the opportunity to socialise with their future classmates in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Students also threw themselves into a series of team-building challenges, demonstrating excellent communication, resilience and problem-solving skills. The activities quickly broke the ice, with laughter, collaboration and new friendships forming throughout the day.

Across the academy, students attended taster lessons in their chosen subjects, giving them an exciting insight into the high-quality teaching, specialist facilities and engaging learning experiences that await them in September. Staff were incredibly impressed with the enthusiasm, curiosity and maturity shown by the incoming Year 12 cohort.

A key part of the induction programme was a series of small-group welcome assemblies led by Mr Joshua Henry, Head of Quest 6. These sessions gave students the opportunity to learn more about the culture, expectations and opportunities that make Quest 6 unique. Mr Henry spoke about the importance of ambition, commitment and community, while encouraging students to make the most of every opportunity available to them over the next two years.

Speaking after the event, Mr Henry said:

“It was fantastic to welcome such a large number of students to Quest 6. The energy, enthusiasm and positivity throughout the day were incredible to see. This is our largest induction on record, and it demonstrates the confidence that students and families have in what Quest 6 has to offer. I have no doubt this cohort will achieve great things, and we cannot wait to welcome them back in September.”

As the day came to a close, students left buzzing with excitement about starting sixth form. Many commented on the welcoming atmosphere, the supportive staff and the opportunity to meet new friends before the start of term.

With record numbers joining Quest 6 this September, the future has never looked brighter. We look forward to welcoming our newest students back as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey.
