We are delighted to share some fantastic feedback from the external visitors who worked with our students last month as part of our careers programme!

The comments below are a real testament to our students and perfectly reflect the high standards, support, and positive relationships that our staff foster every day. Many of our visitors commented on our students’ confidence, politeness, engagement, and willingness to challenge themselves.

I signed up with Croydon Commitment to undertake some Mock Interviews with the Year 10 students.  To be honest I had no idea what to expect, (I do have two boys myself, but they are 23 & 26 now). I found all of the students I engaged with to be so friendly and open and so confident!  I was amazed at how so many of them have a really good idea of what they want to do and that they all plan to go to university, it so good to see that they understand that they need to get certain levels of education to be able to attain their goals.  No one seemed fazed by that, they just seemed to get that this is part of their journey.  They were all very polite, some more nervous than others but the whole thing was such good fun, the students are a real credit to the school.

I have taken part in a number of mock interview events over the years and I have to say that this was one of the best organised. From the moment we arrived, everything was clearly planned out and we always knew where we needed to be. Josh was incredibly welcoming and checked in with us regularly throughout the day. The students were a pleasure to meet. They were polite, respectful and engaged well with the process. Some were understandably nervous, but what impressed me most was how willing they were to take on feedback and reflect on their answers. The school should be proud of how well they represented themselves.

As someone who works in recruitment, I was very impressed by the quality of the students. They were well presented, punctual and approached the interviews with a positive attitude. The event itself ran very smoothly. Josh had clearly put a lot of thought into the logistics and everything from registration through to student movement between interviews worked seamlessly. It was also lovely to see staff actively encouraging and supporting students throughout the day. The Quest Academy has some fantastic young people coming through.

A huge thank you to all our visitors for sharing their expertise, and an even bigger well done to our students for being such brilliant ambassadors for our school. We are so proud of them all.
