Students at The Quest Academy have performed exceptionally well in their A Level and BTEC examinations, and secured a wide range of exciting destinations now their school journeys have come to an end.

Thomas Beecham, Head of School, said, “I am very proud indeed of the fantastic results achieved by Year 13 students this year, and the wonderful things these results enable them to pursue. They have worked incredibly hard and deserve all the opportunities now available to them. Our Sixth Form continues to provide an excellent provision for our young people, and the outcomes achieved reflect this, with ever increasing numbers of students achieving the top grades.”

The academy’s top achievers were Jaheim Williams and Matthew Karikari. Matthew achieved a tremendous set of results with BTEC Distinction Stars in Business Studies, Digital Film & Media and Information Technology. He is celebrating getting into his first choice of degree, Business and Marketing at Kent University. Matthew said, “I really enjoyed the community and the learning environment here, becoming better every single day…I’m proud of myself. I’ve come a long way. The first advice I would give to anyone is to find to a group of people that are motivated to do work, as that will bring you the best results.”

We also celebrate with Habib Hashemi for achieving excellent BTEC results of a Distinction Star and two Distinctions in Business Studies, Digital Film & Media and Information Technology, and two students who each achieved A, B, C at A Level; Irene Morata Belmonte in Spanish, Sociology and History, and Courtney Wade in Sociology, Politics and Sports & PE Studies. Courtney is now off to Chichester to kickstart a career in law. She said, “…[the teachers] are very supportive here. They will get you through your journey… I got my results and so I’m going to Chichester to get my degree in then hopefully my Masters in Law after and then I’ll be off into the world.”

Aditya Raveendran is thrilled also to be going to his first-choice university, Chichester, to study Acting and Film. He says, “I’m so glad I’m studying Acting and Film as it’s always been a passion of mine to do this and I’m just glad that I got in. Quest has been great at supporting me throughout these past two years … it means a lot to me and I’m glad I’m going to Chichester.” Aaron De Lacy-Dobinson will be studying Philosophy and said, “I got my first choice university offer, which has been a passion for me. I’ve been very happy with Quest.”

Andy Crofts, Executive Principal said, “Well done to students for their A level and vocational results today. They have worked hard and achieved some impressive outcomes. I wish them all every success on the next steps in their journey and thank them for their contribution to the Quest community.”
