Although the weather wasn’t great, this didn’t dampen our spirits and we had a relatively smooth journey to the Olympic Park. Our first stop was the Olympic rings and BMX arena. We managed to have some time to relax and go in the adventure playground.

At about lunch time we walked through the Olympic park and made our way to the Copper Box Arena where we took in the sites and even had time to pose for a photo in front of the “RUN” landmark.

We had some lunch by the side of the river that runs around the park and managed to shelter from the rain under the mirrored bridges.

We left via the stadium, aquatics centre and ArcelorMittal orbit. We managed to see so many fantastic sights in such a short time.
