Year 7s visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not
The year 7’s had an amazing time at Ripley’s Believe it or Not seeing an array of unusual and intriguing artwork, artefacts and interactive displays.
It was a very hands-on experience including a chance to put your hands into icy waters below freezing like the survivors of the Titanic, measure yourself against the world’s tallest man and walk through a black hole (fortunately it was only a very dizzying illusion).
Upon asking the children what was their highlight of the trip there was a variety of interesting responses. Several students were fascinated by the simulation of a man in an electric chair being electrocuted for others the best part was tackling challenging mirror and laser mazes.
For all the students and staff involved the trip was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we all are eagerly awaiting the next Quest Academy day.
