During the Spring Term Academy Day trip, students from years 7-10 had the opportunity of exploring the Tower of London.

The students got to explore the sights of several beheadings, see the armour and the dragon in the White Tower and express their fascination with England’s torturous past!

After playing ‘spot the raven’ and trying to protect our lunch from the persistent pigeons, the students were taken around the Crown Jewels and learnt about the process of coronating a new Monarch.

After having decided which crown was their favourite and the one they would wear if they were to become the next King or Queen, it was time to go home, but not before a quick visit to the shop!
