With so much to see and do on HMS Belfast, our students found much to fascinate them. They had donned their walking shoes to see all that was going on along the Thames as we walked from London Bridge to the battleship.

We took time to see everything that the battleship had to offer and students got to see some of the renovation and maintenance work as well as the fascinating displays and models of sailors about their daily business. The visit would not have been complete without seeing the huge torpedo on the ship and the models of dental work and surgery that the sailors endured on board.

Visiting this wonderful ship and having time with their fellow classmates expanded the students’ awareness and made for a valuable and memorable experience.
