Three Year 10 students, Keziah Fenteng, Huda Hammad and Shemaiah Fenteng, took part in the finals of the TeenTech Awards at the Royal Society in Central London. They were one of only 50 teams that made it to the final out of more than 1,400 entries.

During the day they had the opportunity to listen to speeches and participate in workshops run by Brian Cox, Jim Al-Khalili and a vast range of BBC presenters, producers and luminaries from the STEM world. The girls also presented their own innovative entry to a panel of industry judges, who grilled them with questions for more than 20 minutes!

Although the girls did not win their final, they were commended for their hard work and excellent presentation skills. Well done Keziah, Shemaiah and Huda!
