Sports Hall Athletics Championships

On Wednesday 21^st January 2015 students from Year 7 travelled to Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, with Mr Soalla-Bell for the ‘Croydon Schools Year 7 Sports Hall Athletics Championships’.

At the competition the athletes competed in a number of different track and field disciplines, such as the Shot Putt, Standing Triple jump, Verticle Jump, and Obstacle Relay.

The competition was really fierce with teams from many of the Secondary Schools in the borough represented.

In the girls team was Frankie Cummings, Grace Hierons, Maya Thomas, Aimee Baker-Sanders, and Alexis Jansen. They came 5^th overall.

In the boys team was: Helvin felgueiras, Harry Isted, Davidson Ogujohnbenson Dacosta, Abdoulaye Diallo, Justin Hageman, and Krystian Zyzek. They came 6^th overall.
