Croydon Schools Cross Country Championships

Following heavy rain and lightening, the boys’ ‘Croydon Schools Cross Country Championships’ finally took place on Tuesday 14^th October 2014 at Coombe Park. The Quest Academy entered runners in the Year 7 race, and the combined Year 8 and 9 race. The conditions were better than when the girls ran, but the distance was no shorter!

The Year 7 team finished in 6^th place overall, and our best performer was Abdoulaye, he came 14^th in his race in a time of 10 minutes 36 seconds.

The boys performed very well against the other schools from across the Borough. Each runner showed great fitness, strength, character and courage, and are real credit to their houses.
