On Monday March 16th, eighteen Quest 6 students participated in a workshop aimed at inspiring young talent to start up their own businesses in Croydon. The workshop was run by the young start-up talent entrepreneurial initiative; a group aimed at “encouraging 16-25 year olds to start their own business. The process is a chance for students to put their ideas into practice, with the opportunity to work alongside business professionals to further develop their skills.”

During the workshop students discovered what entrepreneurial qualities they think they will need, thought up creative ideas for business plans and started to form the finer details of their business ideas. Students now have two weeks to further develop their ideas and submit their business proposals to the initiative. If successful they will be in with the chance of receiving further workshops, creating real business plans to pitch to business professionals and even win a £50,000 investment prize for their business.

Good luck all!
