Quest Stages Fabulous Performance of “Oliver!”
Students did the Academy proud in the Quest’s first whole-school production in early February, with a fantastic performance of “Oliver!”
Involving over 30 students, musicians and numerous behind-the-scenes coordinators, the production showed off the talents of Quest’s students and their exceptional teamwork.
Students from local primary schools Gilbert Scott and Selsdon Primary came along and enjoyed the performance.
Special thanks must go to the cast members as well as Blake Pearson, Morgan Wilkins-Oliver, Colin Clarke, Jack Dandy & Simone Balzama.
A particular highlight was seeing how much gusto the cast sang the finale song. Their smiles and joy could not have been any higher and it really was a joy to behold for all who witnessed it.
Gavin Kensit, Director (and Team Leader of Creative Arts, Technology and Drama) said, “The experience was a wonderful one for many people. The cast were stars for their continual dedication during the winter rehearsals. As we moved into 2016 so many staff and fellow student played a part in making the Quest’s first school production a memorable one. Over 400 people watched the show over three performances so all in all it was a huge success that will be hard to beat in 2017.”
Congratulations to all involved.
