Over A Third of all Grades A*-B at Quest!
Over a third of all grades achieved at A Level by students at The Quest Academy in Selsdon, South Croydon, were A*, A or B. In Maths, 64% were A*, A or B and in History, 60% of all grades achieved were the top three possible.
In addition to overall successes, several students obtained impressive sets of results: Huda Hammad-Rattu achieved A* in Psychology, A in Biology and Bs in both Chemistry and Mathematics. Tia Pillay-Mitchell will now go on to study Biomedical Science at Warwick University having achieved As in Mathematics and Psychology and Bs in both Biology and Chemistry. Tia said, “I have a lot to thank the teachers for. They gave me a lot of support and help throughout the years, particularly, Mr Cox, our Head of Sixth Form and my biology teacher. They’re all very helpful. We’re all very thankful to them.”
Several students also achieved particularly well in BTECs: Favour Teibowei achieved Distinction Star in Information Technology, Double Distinction in Applied Double Science and an A at Mathematics AS Level and will go to Loughborough University to study Civil Engineering. Ikram Khan achieved a Distinction Star in Information Technology, an A in Mathematics and a B in Economics at A Level and now goes to Queen Mary’s University to read Maths; Zakaria Rage achieved a Double Distinction in Applied Science along with an A in Mathematics and a B in Economics A Level.
