Quest Receives Healthy Schools Award
Quest students and Pastoral Manager, Louise Stotesbury have attended an awards ceremony held at Selsdon Park Hotel, in recognition of the Academy achieving the “Healthy Schools Award”.
In order to obtain the award, the Academy had to complete an audit to demonstrate that it is actively working towards addressing the health & well-being priorities of the Croydon Children & Families Partnership. Currently these are:
– Reducing childhood obesity
– Reducing risk taking behaviour
– Improving emotional health & wellbeing of pupils
– Reducing prevalence of bullying.
The audit was then submitted to the borough’s Quality Assurance Group for approval and The Quest was found to have reached the required standard.
The London programme also has a silver and gold status award, which forms part of the school’s development plan in the coming year.
