Quest students have experienced a day off-timetable as part of the termly Academy Day initiative. Year 7 students visited the Natural History Museum and year 9 explored the British Museum. Year 8 were involved in a full day of activities led by representatives from the London emergency services. Years 10 and 11 were engaged in English and Maths days respectively, during which they experienced a number of challenges and demonstrations to further extend and explore their understanding of these essential subjects. Sixth Form students followed individual learning programmes as directed by Quest6’s Learning Achievement Coordinator.

Pupils from three Selsdon primary schools (Forestdale, Courtwood and Gilbert Scott) were also invited to the Quest to spend the day exploring forensic sciences. This provided an opportunity for these prospective Quest students to spend time with Academy staff and students whilst gaining an insight into this exciting scientific field.
