Students at The Quest Academy have won £1,000 for their chosen charity, KAS Youth Hub. 2nd and 3rd places also won £250 for Centre Point, the homeless charity, and Sense, the deaf and blind charity, respectively.

The First Give Programme is delivered through a fully resourced scheme of work that is interactive and student-led. Over eight lessons, the Programme encourages an entire year group of students to identify social issues in their area and engage with local charities that address them. The students then have the opportunity to compete for £1,500 of grant money. Teams do this by advocating for their charity in a school competition.

The programme promotes many aspects of Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural education for our students.

Congratulations to all involved.
