Quest Academy teams from Years 9, 10 and 11 recently took part in a Croydon school sport competition in Badminton. The Year 9s hadn’t had much experience prior to the competition but still performed well, with a few wins. They played Riddlesdown, Lanfranc and Oasis Coulsdon.

The KS4 competition was split into two groups. The year 10s played Oasis Coulsdon A and Riddlesdown. Whereas the Year 11s played Lanfranc and Oasis Coulsdon B. The Year 10s won their group and reached the finals. The Year 11s came last with a few wins so are through to the 5th/6th play off.  In the Year 11 final games, they won 3-0, coming 5th overall.

The Year 10 team had the toughest opponents yet in the final and unfortunately lost, which meant they came away 2nd with silver medals! This was a great experience for all players and they did the school proud.
