On 9th March, senior cadets from The Quest Academy undertook a night exercise followed by a training session in reconnaissance and attacking an enemy on 10th May. For our cadets it was their first opportunity to apply the skills that they have learnt in weapons handling, navigation and field craft.
Students applied these skills admirably in challenging conditions and experienced some effective teamwork. The key to success is self-discipline and resilience. Their achievements will allow them to experience more leadership roles during their CCF activities at the Quest in the near future.
Our next training exercise trip will be in April and we look forward to further success as our lead cadets support our new recruits at that camp.
Congratulations to Ryan Donnelly, Imani Ennis and Cameron Edwards Powell.
